What are Phase I Courses?
Phase I courses are the only courses the Phase II review committee will use as one evaluative component to determine placement in your desired major.
All Phase I coursework must be completed before applying to Phase II of the major.
There is no minimum Phase I - GPA requirement to apply to a chemistry or biochemistry major so long as a student has passed all coursework with an EP or C- or higher. There is no GPA that will guarantee admission to any major.
