CHEM 402 (1 cr.) Seminar in Chemistry & Biochemistry 

  • Offerings: Fall/Winter/Spring
  • Prerequisite: CHEM 461 or CHEM 471 or concurrent
  • Cannot be taken if enrolled in CHEM 201, 301 or 401
  • Repeatable to a maximum of 3 credits over three quarters, including original course.
  • Presentations by faculty or students on current research and topics related to careers in chemistry or biochemistry. The course is designed to promote independent thinking, integration of topics in chemistry, and to provide practice in written reports.
