Rider Group Research
Welcome to the Rider Research Group Website
The Rider Research Group aspires to use engineered polymers to (i) create functional nanomaterials for energy technologies like fuel cells, sensors and catalytic devices and (ii) create robust and light-weight composites for aerospace. Some of the specific projects that are active are:
- Advanced Polymer Materials for Aerospace Composites
- Self-Assembled Polymers and Nanoparticles (NPs) for Electrocatalysis and Sensing
- Polymer - Quantum Dot Composites for Solar Energy Applications
Our research is conducted by the following individuals:
- Undergraduate and Graduate students from the Chemistry Department
- Undergraduate students from the Engineering Department
- Undergraduate students from the Advanced Materials Science and Engineering Center
